I tried using Gnome Web on RHEL 9 and the video seems to play, so it is only a Safari problem on Mac and iOS. It should play, since it's an H264/AAC MP4 file, but it seems that Safari doesn't like the proxied file. Same with Orion.

It might be with the media proxy or something. I have the Sharkey team check it.

It seems to be an issue with only Webkit based browsers like Safari/Orion as it may not support some formats with video. On Firefox and Chrome based browsers, the videos play fine. Needs more investigating, an h264 video can't play in Sharkey is odd. Also discovered this error...

Might be an oauth issue or something, or implementation of the Mastodon API through megalodon that differ compared to Firefish‘s implementation. Amelia is planning to rewrite the Mastodon API without megalodon, so it’s probably best to wait before filing an issue...

Should be set up now. It seems like I needed to generate some keys to make it work.

Haven’t gotten the chance to set it up, and that I’m possibly changing software in the near future, I want to hold off on it. Also, I think it needs a service worker service to be set up, and I don’t know the specifics to set that up yet.

I will get to adding them sometime in the near future. As always, it will take some time.
