This episode of Frieren was heartwarming.

Fern and Stark bonding in different ways felt precious. Given their age, it felt appropriate as teenagers on their immaturity on their small squabble.

Despite Sein parting ways with the group and having the shortest time with them, it felt like he's still watching over them from afar.

I still love how Frieren uses the past as a reflection to the present. Comparing and contrasting how Fern and Frieren had a fever and how it is handled is sweet.

I do still enjoy the double act comedy that happens. Frieren pulling a huge mushroom, using the holy scripture as a pot stand, pulling a giant mushroom, and being a mischievous witch brewing medicine while Stark reacts to it is fun to watch.
