For a while now, our Pixelfed instance is only available for those who requested it and te process of account creation was done manually. Now, since the settings to send the emails are fixed, we are opening it for approval based registration. You must have an account on our servers or any servers on our bubble list (check the about page on Mastodon) and provide the link to your profile on the reason to join. The account must be a month old and have at least one post. This is for those who is looking for a Japanese media/culture themed Pixelfed server.
We will eventually open it to anyone who have a social media profile eventually. Note that this is hosted on my personal server (at least the database, media files are stored at Linode), but it will eventually get moved to the Sakurajima social where Mastodon and Misskey is being hosted.
