Old school manga

For those unfortunate ones that already follow me on sakurajima you have noticed that I've picked up Ranma again (because of the anime remake). It's certainly a product of its time, but it got me thinking about something else. I really enjoy it (be it nostalgia or that it's actually good), so I'm wondering two things:

Are there any old school (think no longer getting new chapters and haven't for a significant amount of time) manga out there that you have enjoyed in the last few years?

Any you might recommend me? I'm thinking I should churn through more Takahashi.

You mean 90's old school? The oldest manga I read is Hidamari Sketch, which started in 2004. Besides that, most of the Manga I read came out in the 2010s and 2020s.

I think "old school" is in the eye of the beholder, or rather more of a fluid concept. Depends on the person etc. So I left it open to interpretation :) Most not "new" and finished. So One Piece wouldn't fit the bill in this case.

(Imagine if "one piece" is a one piece swimsuit, and what started as a dumb joke a long time ago has now turned into him not having an ending and just endlessly producing new chapters to avoid having to admit what the original idea was:))
