Error generating thumbnail while uploading video

This one has me stumped. I'm trying to upload a video clip that's well within the size limits - currently mp4 with 20.4 MB size (1280x720, x264, aac lc), but I always get a 422 error when it's attempting to generate the thumbnail. I've tried reencoding with a lot of different settings, but still get the 422. I've attached Mediainfo.

And I’m going to answer myself. It looks like I needed to limit the video bitrate to 1300K to make it work.

Sorry for the late reply, but the size limit for video is 15 MB. This is true with all Mastodon servers. If you need to upload a longer video, you should host it elsewhere and link it.
