Yoshino Garden and WordPress Drama Impacts

If you haven't kept up with the WordPress Drama, Matt Mullenweg is actively destroying WordPress. While we hope there is some kind of hard fork that will come from this, we are changing some things to mitigate this.

• Existing blog owners can move their blog to Yoshino Garden without being a member of our servers and affiliates. However, they will be required to link back to Yoshino Garden and JoinSakurajima.
• We are adding more alternatives to features provided by Jetpack like Anti-SPAM and the Toolbelt plugin.
• We have disabled the WordPress Events and News widget from the Dashboard, which Matt is using to spread his Anti-WP Engine Propaganda
• We will be implementing a plugin that will pull plugins, themes and updates from an alternative repository. (because we can't trust WordPress.org hijacking plugins and doing a supply chain attack)

While some may be worried about the impacts the drama is causing, rest assured that your blogs are safe with us.
