After nearly three weeks of development, the main features of AniBlogTracker is complete and is close to the original, except for functionality that allows users to create their own feed from sites they followed. So far, we have about 208 sites that the user can view posts for.
For now, the application is in it’s testing phase, to find and fix bugs as we plan for additional features to add later this month. This includes:
- Improved search (currently database search is very limited, will be implementing Elasticsearch to allow users to search posts from title, excerpt, tagged titles, and author)
- Infinite scrolling/dynamic page loading
- Favicons showing properly
- Anime title recognition based on post title first.
- Sakura theme (in progress)
- API documentation.
